Silvia Giordani (Vicenza, Italy 1992) is a painter who lives and works in Venice, Italy.
Graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, she focuses her artistic research on the concept of landscape, creating works that evoke remote places in time and space, devoid of human traces.
In these landscapes, nature, characterized by altered forms and colors, dominates the scene, with silent interactions between elements that resemble the mineral or vegetal world while maintaining a deliberately ambiguous essence. The visual tension emerges from the relationship between these organic entities and a gradient background, evoking both a clear twilight sky and a digital environment.
The compositions invite the viewer to reflect on their own position, suspended between above and below, inside and outside, or between different worlds. The chromatic openings within the landscapes suggest passages-portals to other realities or universes.
Often inspired by dystopian and science fiction novels, Silvia Giordani explores the subtle boundary between real and unreal, creating enigmatic settings and suspended worlds, mysterious like fragments of unexplored realities.
Silvia Giordani is active on both the national and international art scene.
