Introduced to painting and graphic arts at a very early age, Dominique Funes pays particular attention to perspective with his work on the line. This is also the basis of sculptures made with industrial elements and sometimes illuminated by neon lights.
Current work
- The cortical gesture which combines the gesture and the line confused.
- It (the gesture) wants to be a vector of its own vitality borrowed from organic memory.
- The gesture also like photographic box: to reveal itself.
- Thus realizes canvases large format as well as large monotypes on a large press.
