Our relationship with reality, with the present, is surrounded by cracks that open onto the invisible. Moving from a focused vision to a blurred and multifaceted vision allows us to confront other universes. The sphere of the inexplicable and that of reason overlap in a dark area.

The exhibition presents the broad outlines that make up David Scognamiglio’s fragmented universe.
The gallery space has been divided.
On one side is an in situ installation that demonstrates the interest in the re-signification of space, an operation that Scognamiglio has been carrying out since the beginning of his career.
In the rest of the gallery, the works are arranged in free dialogues.
Veils,
structural reflections,
membranes,
sculpted shadows,
millimeter burns,
incandescences,
evaporated waves,
textures.
All these elements allow us to approach the artist’s mental geographies.
Hence the interest in the manipulation of time, in the symbolic charge present in places and matter, in the manifestation of the unspeakable.
