프랑스 남부 메네르브에 1944년 파블로 피카소가 그의 동반자이자 뮤즈였던 초현실주의 예술가이자 사진작가인 도라 마르를 위해 18세기의 매력적인 마을 저택을 구입했습니다. 1997년 도라 마르가 사망할 때까지 이 집을 관리했으며 이 후 휴스턴과 메네르브에 거주하는 한 주민이 이 집을 매입하고 개조하여 작가, 학자, 예술가들을 위한 레지던스로 발전시켰습니다.
