Galerie PJ presents a dialogue between two emerging Asian artists. Born in Tokyo in 1983, Shinpei Okawadevelops a body of work imbued with temporality and memory, combining fragments, altered surfaces, and dreamlike motifs. He regularly exhibits in Japan, Korea, and China, and his works are part of the collection of the Gwangju Museum of Art. Asia Now will mark his first participation in a contemporary art fair in Europe. Born in Seoul in 1978, Horyon Lee creates a painting of veil and desire, inspired by Lacan and Merleau-Ponty. His work, situated between dreamlike figuration and plays of transparency, is shown in Korea, Europe, and the United States. The project stages a dialogue between two meditative sensibilities where matter becomes language.
